Swank Books is a collaborative press dedicated to the spread of independent fiction.
Founded as Swank Writing in 2002 with the 83 words writing project, Swank has been a host organism for adventures in narrative, and a home for fiction that pushes gently at the boundaries of the form.
Originally conceived as a hybrid between the Fiction Collective and the Tupperware Corporation, Swank Books publishes sustainable fiction, irregular blogs, and quasi-manifestos from its fledgling think tank, the Institute for the Advancement of (mostly) Alternative Literary Forms.
